The 2022 model year is coming soon, and it brings bigger and better things for the Chevrolet Suburban and Chevrolet Tahoe. This includes new power options under the hood and additional technology features.
Both the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban will have increased V8 engine availability: the RST, Z71, and Premier trim levels are available with the 6.3-liter V8 engine that achieves 420 horsepower. An available electronic limited slip differential also monitors your wheels as you drive, giving you a sportier driving experience.
If you use Google to run your life, you’ll be happy to know that the Tahoe and Suburban will now be available with Google Assistant. It works with Android™ Auto and Apple CarPlay® to manage audio volume, climate settings, Google Maps, and phone messages with your voice. Chevrolet plans for additional uses for the feature as it rolls out.
For safety, the Front and Rear Park Assist, Lane Keep Assist, and Lane Departure Warning systems will now be standard on all trims of these vehicles. Advanced safety systems are good, but seat belts are still an essential way to protect you and your family on the go. The 2022 Suburban and Tahoe will come standard with the Buckle to Drive feature. It won’t let you move the car out of park until the front passenger and driver have their seat belts on.
