General Motors has a plan to introduce 30 new electric vehicles globally by 2025. Bringing the automaker one step closer to that goal are the redesigned 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV and the new 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV. These additions to GM’s electric vehicle portfolio fit into a vision of the future with zero emissions, zero crashes, and zero congestion.
Bolt EV & Bolt EUV
The Bolt EV and new Bolt EUV feature unique exterior designs and technology that make electric vehicles more convenient, affordable, and reliable. The 2022 Bolt EUV packages the best of the Bolt EV into an SUV-like vehicle, and it is also the first Chevrolet vehicle to offer Super Cruise. The industry’s first hands-free driver assistance system works on more than 200,000 miles of enabled roads in the United States and Canada.
The new Dual Level Charge Cord, which comes standard on the Bolt EUV and is available for the Bolt EV, makes it more convenient to charge the vehicles by offering a changeable plug for both Level 1 and Level 2 charging. Chevrolet also makes it easier to live electric by covering standard installation of Level 2 charging capability when eligible customers purchase or lease a 2022 Bolt EV or EUV.
GM is also working to make the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV easier to drive. A collaboration with EVgo will bring expanded access to fast chargers with more than 2,700 chargers being added around the country, making it more convenient to find public charging.
