2022 Chevrolet Colorado Greer, SC

The new Chevy Colorado has plenty of features and upgrades to impress for the 2022 model year. But, one feature that is sure to thrill adventure-seekers is the new Trail Boss Package, specifically designed for off-roading adventures.

The Trail Boss Package will bolster the 2022 Chevy Colorado to take on the toughest terrain thanks to features including 17-inch high-gloss black wheels, a performance front skid plate, a performance mid skid plate, red recovery hooks, and a front 1-inch leveling kit. Adding to the exterior style and bold design of the 2022 Colorado are tailgate lettering and Colorado emblems in black.

To get the Trailboss Package, you will need to choose a four-wheel drive equipped LT or Z71 trim of the 2022 Chevy Colorado. Opting for the Trail Boss Package on the LT trim will clad your Colorado with black bowtie emblems but make it ineligible for the Chrome Appearance Package. You also won’t be privy to the Redline Special Edition and LPO-level wheels. The Z71 Midnight Edition and any LPO-level wheels are not compatible with the Trail Boss Package on the Z71 trim.

Chevrolet Traverse Wins IIHS Top Safety Pick Award

2021 Chevrolet Traverse | Greer, SC

Safety is a top concern for Chevrolet and it shows in the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse. When equipped with optional front crash prevention and specific headlights, the midsize SUV earns a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

“Safety for our customers through each of our brands has always been paramount to our operations,” said John Capp, director of Global Safety Technology, Strategy and Regulations at GM.

The well-equipped 2021 Traverse earned the rating from the IIHS after it scored “Good” in the agency’s crashworthiness tests, the highest mark available. The six crashworthiness tests are small overlap front: driver side, small overlap front: passenger-side, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraints and seats. The IIHS also rated the available front crash prevention, vehicle-to-vehicle tech in the 2021 Traverse as “Superior.”

Standard safety tech on the 2021 Traverse, which is available with FWD or AWD, includes a rear vision camera, an airbag system, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Teen Driver technology is also standard, allowing you to monitor the driving habits of your inexperienced driver as well as set limits on vehicle features including speed and audio volume.

The IIHS isn’t the only prominent safety group to rate the Traverse highly. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has given the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse a five-star overall safety rating.
