This fall, Chevrolet steps up its truck game yet again with the new and improved 2022 Silverado 1500. Likely debuting in September, the latest Silverado pickup boasts a host of impressive improvements — including cutting-edge technology and an exciting new trim.
Chevrolet has confirmed that the new 2022 Silverado will be the second vehicle in the lineup to receive Super Cruise™ hands-free driving technology. Super Cruise™ comes enhanced for 2022 with a new feature tailor-made for the Silverado: the ability to trailer hands-free. New Super Cruise™ also offers features like automatic lane change and an enhanced navigation display.
2022 also finally marks the debut of the Silverado ZR2. The popular trim, which has been part of the Colorado lineup since 2017, will make the latest Silverado even more off-road-capable than ever. Expect similar upgrades to the Colorado ZR2, including a Multimatic DSSV™ Damping System and a unique ZR2 off-road-tuned suspension.
On top of all this, the new 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 will sport a bold new look inside and out. Expected improvements include a larger touch-screen display, more interior refinement, and a more aggressive face. Considering that the current Silverado is one of the best-looking and most refined trucks on the road, there’s plenty of reason to be excited.
Another reason to be excited: Chevrolet should be pulling the cover off the 2022 Silverado 1500 very soon. And that means it’ll be in stock and ready to roll at Bradshaw Automotive in Greer, South Carolina, before you know it.
