The Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan is one of the best-selling Chevy vehicles. It’s efficient, affordable, stylish, and packed with thoughtful amenities. The upcoming 2019 Chevrolet Cruze will keep the momentum going with updates to its design and trim levels. Here’s what to expect from the new model year.
Changes to the 2019 Chevrolet Cruze will be apparent immediately, thanks to updates to the front fascia. The new Chevy Cruze gets a bolder look with a wider grille and refreshed, modern accents. These new details give the Cruze a more sophisticated and upscale look, while maintaining the sensible design and affordability the model is known for.
New Hatchback Trim
The 2019 Chevy Cruze will be available in a brand new hatchback trim, the Hatch LS. The current hatchback trims already account for a fifth of the Cruze sales, and this higher level trim will bring wider options to buyers looking for a five-door option.
Certain trims of the 2019 Cruze will also offer new amenities. LT and Premier models will get remote start and automatic climate control, while the brand new Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system will be available as an upgrade to in-cabin technology.
Test drive the new Cruze for yourself when it arrive on our lot here at Bradshaw Automotive.
The half-ton pickup market is a competitive segment, especially here in America. Pickup trucks offer a variety of different features, capabilities, and packages to appeal to a broad and diverse audience. GMC is staying one step ahead of competitors with expanded options for the GMC Sierra 1500. The model, due for a 2019 model year release, will offer drivers the options of a carbon fiber truck bed and an off-road trim level.
One of the most anticipated new features to debut on the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 is the MultiPro tailgate. This feature keeps cargo more secure by preventing it from shifting, as well as making loading, unloading, accessing it easier. This tailgate will be standard on the SLT and Denali trim levels, which are the models selected by 87% of GMC Sierra 1500 customers.
More tie-downs and 110-volt outlet will also be included with the Sierra 1500’s short box, and in addition to the standard high-strength steel boxes, drivers will be able to select truck beds built from alloy, which has been engineered to be 50% stronger than the Sierra 1500’s current alloy box. Later in the model year, the GMC Sierra 1500 will also offer a CarbonPro box with some panels made from carbon-fiber composite.

Everyone wants the latest and greatest vehicle equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, and oftentimes you can get it at by choosing a vehicle a year or two older than the current model year. More likely than not, recent model years have nearly identical mechanical parts and advanced features but come at a reduced price, so your money goes further. Both the 2016 and 2017 Buick Regals are shining examples of this. These mid-size luxury sedans are just as stylish, graceful, and powerful as the current model year.
The 2017 Buick Regal boasts performance and sophistication. It comes equipped with a 2.4-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine that offers 182 horsepower as well as 30 mpg on the highway*. It also has a 5-star Overall Vehicle Score for safety by NHTSA, so you can feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel of the Buick Regal.
The 2016 Buick Regal boasts that same standard engine, fuel efficiency, and many other identical mechanical components and premium features as the 2017 model. For the first time, the 2016 Regal features an advanced IntelliLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay® smartphone compatibility.

If the shadowy photograph of the 2019 Chevy Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD has you chomping at the bit, don’t worry. You don’t have much longer to wait until this all-new truck is unveiled in full. A few weeks ago, Chevrolet announced that the Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD would make their debut at The Work Truck Show 2018, which will take place March 6th through 9th in Indianapolis. The U.S. vice president of GM, Ed Peper, made the following announcement: “The Silverado 4500HD/5500HD trucks are the flagship of our full-line commercial truck portfolio and we’ve designed them to be among the best in the industry in maneuverability, serviceability, visibility, quietness and comfort, diesel fuel economy, and more.” You’re not going to find stronger, more formidable ally anywhere than in the Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD, as they will come with tough Duramax diesel engines alongside Allison transmissions.

Want to make your car stand out for the Holiday season? Try one of these festive car decorations. They’re all inexpensive, easy to apply, and reusable for years of festive driving. You’ll be sure to bring jolly good spirit with you everywhere you go!
Reindeer Vehicle Costume
This is the classic Holiday-themed car costume. It’s fun, easy to put together, and it’s reusable. All you have to do is apply the reindeer nose (lighted versions are available, too) and the reindeer antlers to turn your car into a festive site each Holiday season.
Santa Window Cling
Santa doesn’t always have to travel via a reindeer-pulled sleigh. With the Santa window cling, you can bring santa with you in the back seat of your Buick from Bradshaw Automotive. If you don’t feel like driving a Santa mobile, other versions are also available, such as a snowman.
Large Wired Red Bow
You may not want to cover up the handsome grille of your Buick, but you may find that a dash of scarlet will actually enhance it during the Holiday season. This large red bow is easy to attach to your grille and can add a welcome dash of warm color to a dreary winter scene.
There are many reasons why the team at Bradshaw Automotive loves calling Greer, South Carolina our home. We love its proximity to gorgeous national forests like Chattahoochee National Forest and Pisgah National Forest, we love its friendly population, and this time of year we really love the Holiday spirit. One thing we always look forward to is the annual Greer Christmas Parade.
Each year, the Greer Christmas Parade chooses a theme for its celebrations. This year’s parade theme is “Christmas at the Movies.” Participants are encouraged to dress as the characters from classic Christmas films like “It’s a Wonderful Life,” “Home Alone,” “Elf,” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
The 1.1-mile parade will start at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Participants such as local clubs, various organizations, and businesses will line up their festive floats. Marching bands, cheerleaders, and beauty queens will help to amp up the Holiday spirit. Bring the whole family and enjoy spotting your favorite, familiar, Christmas movie characters, like Snoopy, Rudolph, and the abominable snowman. The Greer Christmas Parade changes every year, but it always promises to be a new and exciting way to welcome in the Holiday season with family and friends. Get into the spirit of the season this year in Greer.
In just a few short weeks, families all across the country will be climbing into the car to head out on the annual Thanksgiving road trip. If this is what you have planned for your family this year, you will need some Thanksgiving road trip games to keep everyone occupied.
Plan ahead and let everyone pick out a few of their favorite songs to add to a playlist or burned CD before you leave. Then, each person has to sing along to their songs in their own special way—most dramatic, loudest, and so on.
Two truths and a lie.
Each person says three things about themselves, except one of them is a lie. Everyone else has to guess which one is the lie.
This game is good for younger kids. Everyone looks at road signs, license plates, billboards, etc. to find each letter of the alphabet in order.
This game is a good test of everyone’s memory. The first person starts out by saying, “I’m going on a picnic and I’m going to take…” and then they name something that starts with A. The next person says the same thing and then adds to the list with the next letter. If you can’t remember the list, you lose.
If your car is in need of attention before you hit the road, or it is time for something new, come visit us at Bradshaw Automotive.
Now that November is here, winter weather is right around the corner. That means now is the time to prepare before the icy weather arrives, which it will, even here in South Carolina. Here are a few tips for winter car care.
As the days get shorter, you will be using your headlights more often. Make sure all of your exterior lights are working and angled correctly. In addition, if there is snow on your car, brush off your lights before you start driving.
This fluid is immensely important in the winter as it keeps your engine from freezing. Make sure your antifreeze level isn’t low and there are no leaks.
To prevent your fuel lines from freezing or to make sure you don’t run out of gas when stuck on the side of the road, keep your gas tank as full as you can.
On cold, frosty winter mornings, you will want your heater. Make sure it and your air conditioning still work. Your A/C helps keep your windows clear of fog.
Make sure your tires have adequate tread depth. And, if you live in an area that routinely has winter weather below 45 degrees, consider switching to winter tires.
If you need any help with your winter car care, schedule a service appointment here at Bradshaw Automotive.
