For the past 52 years, Jim Hall and Hap Sharp, founders of Chaparral Cars, have been shaking up the industry’s idea of what it means to be a race car. Now, the innovative engineers at Chaparral have created a new concept with the help of Chevrolet’s terrific performance. The new Chaparral Vision Gran Turismo Concept, which is the newest addition to the Vision Gran Turismo lineup, will once again push the boundaries of power, just like the Chaparral Cars before it.
“Jim Hall and Chaparral blended the art of racing with science in an unprecedented way, changing the sport forever and inspiring a new generation to experiment with aerodynamics and unconventional materials,” said Mark Reuss, GM executive vice president for Global Product Development, Purchasing, and Supply Chain. “His race cars were four-wheeled physics projects that proved innovation—and a strong Chevy race engine—could drive you to the winner’s circle.”
This new concept car is part of the 15th anniversary celebration of the Gran Turismo PlayStation racing game. Set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, this concept gives fans and gamers alike a taste of what the future of automotive design will look like.

Anyone who thinks there isn’t a market for more midsize pickup trucks is sorely mistaken—which Chevy is out to prove with its new Colorado truck. The Colorado is already a favorite among new car customers, who love its combination of practicality, capability, and efficiency. A recent Chevy press release followed the excitement of the first Chevrolet Colorado owners, like Albert Lorenzo.
Lorenzo already loved the midsize truck segment, and so the new Colorado fit right in with what he and the rest of the family—his wife Ann and their two dogs—needed. “With the Colorado, Chevrolet offers customers more choices than any other pickup truck brand, with midsize, full-size light duty and heavy-duty pickups,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Marketing. “For families like the Lorenzos, having the option to find the right-sized truck for their lifestyle is crucial.”
To find out how you, just like the Lorenzos, can make the most of the new Chevrolet Colorado, come see us at Bradshaw Chevrolet. We’ll show you what the Colorado for you—and soon you’ll be another success story, just like the Lorenzos.
